The Leader of the Animation Industry in Turkey: TRT Cocuk

Although cartoons come to mind when animation is mentioned, it is used in many areas from advertisements to news, from art to science and beyond. Thus, while adults use their imaginations, children can reach higher levels of their visual and auditory abilities. October 28 is International Animation Day. Animation, which was brought to life in the 19th century, is at the limits of imagination today in parallel with the technological development. Animation cinema, which started with digital animation in the 1800s, has reached a very detailed drawing structure. Although the history of Turkish animation started with the short film applications of cartoonists, it actually goes back to the shadow play of Karagöz and Hacivat centuries ago. The audience of this formation could not predict where the characters would end up in every sense in the future. At the point reached, the new sector was mostly used in commercial applications in Turkey and then animated films were introduced. The opening of TRT Children's Channel for the first time in Turkey is the turning point of animation. The first animation examples in world history are Fantasmagorie, Gertie the Dinosaur and Felix the Cat. In the process that follows, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are among the first to come to mind. Uniform drawing examples turned into three dimensions, and the expression of emotions with sound effects turned into high-level animation music and voiceovers. With the transition to computer-aided animation, studies in this field have been made available to more people. The use of animation in many fields has become an indispensable condition. The Lion King, Shrek, Monsters, Ice Age series, Finding Nemo, Happy Feet, Toy Story series, Coco… The universal effect of their stories are common features of animated feature films. However, if your story is not good, the desired results may not be obtained with the animation studies. Thus, the animated films that left their mark are still in the memory and in the heart with the subjects they contain. In this sense, classical lines occupy a different place.
