The Agora of the Ancient City of Smyrna Gets Ready For Metaverse

Archaeological excavations in the Agora of the Ancient City of Smyrna, located in Konak district of İzmir, have been going on since 1933. The ancient city, which has a history of approximately 2500 years, contains many old graffiti, basilica and a 2000-year-old water canal. The Agora of the Ancient City of Smyrna, modeled in 3D design programs within the scope of the Project "Cultural Heritage is Alive", will be open to virtual visitors in the metaverse universe next month.
