The general theory of relativity, published by Albert Einstein in 1916, is briefly explained as the way large objects bend space and time to form depressions. The theory, which was put to the test many times by scientists during the 105 years it was put forward, was finally retested with a study that lasted 16 years. The results of the studies on pulsars using 7 radio telescopes in different parts of the world completely matched Einstein's theory.
