2020 Computer Technologies Department Alumni Meeting
The traditional alumni meeting organized by the Department of Computer Technologies was held online this year on October 31, 2020.
The opening speeches of the meeting were made by Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School Director Dr. Instructor Prof. İsmail Cem AY and Head of Computer Technologies Department Lect. See. Ferhat PERÇİN realized it. Graduates were asked to share a word summarizing their life at IGU, and a word cloud was created from these words. Among the speakers, our graduate student Selahattin ÖZCAN shared about the post-graduation job search process and job opportunities in the database field. Senior Java Software Specialist Mehmet ÇATIKKAYA, who attended the event as a speaker, talked about the business opportunities that can be realized with java expertise and various java resources. Another speaker at the event, Senior Data Scientist Yeşim ATASOY, shared her knowledge on big data, popular fields in data science and data science technologies. Instructor of Information Security Technology Program, Lecturer. See. Adnan Kürşat TEKE talked about personal development and beneficial activities in the field of Information Technologies. After the speakers' speeches, graduates, program heads and program lecturers came together in meet meeting sessions opened specifically for each program.
