Turkish Airlines Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated that half of the 50 million passengers who came to Turkey last year traveled with Turkish Airlines, adding that they were the first airline company in the world to provide free internet service on domestic routes and that they would be the first airline company to provide this service on international routes as well.

He noted that in the first quarter of the year, it increased by 42.7 percent compared to the previous year and their growth will continue.
Stating that they will further improve the quality of internet access for all their passengers, regardless of 'business' or economy class, and that they continue to meet with the relevant suppliers, Bolat said that their goal is to make Turkish Airlines among the top 3 airline companies that offer the best digital experience in the world.
On the other hand, it was announced that THY signed cooperation agreements with Vietnam Airlines and Italian airline company ITA Airways. With the agreement signed between THY and Vietnam Airlines, passengers of both companies will be offered alternatives for their flights to other destinations connected to Turkey and Vietnam. According to the statement, Vietnam Airlines' Hanoi-Da Nang-Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh-Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh flights can be operated with the code "TK".
THY and Italian airline company ITA Airways will start joint flights as of July 2023. Thanks to the codeshare agreement signed between the two airlines, it will provide passengers with more travel options between Turkey and Italy.
