In the said survey, within the scope of the program developed by ACI World, 465 thousand surveys were conducted around the world throughout 2022 and passengers using the airports were asked about check-in, ease of navigation, cleaning, shopping, and dining.
Only İGA Istanbul Airport from Turkey is among the 10 airports that serve more than 40 million passengers annually and in the best way all over the world. Istanbul Airport, where the best ones were determined in the categories of airports with the most devoted personnel, the easiest airport journey, the most enjoyable airport, and the cleanest airport, managed to enter the top ten in the category of the most pleasant and cleanest airports in the world.
The awards, determined by passenger evaluations in the surveys conducted by ACI World and travel technology company Amadeus, will be presented at the ceremony to be held during the ACI Customer Experience Global Summit, which will take place on September 4-7, 2023 in Incheon, South Korea.
