In the USA, Aircraft Fuel was Produced from a Plant of the Mustard Family
At the end of a four-year study in the United States of America (USA), it was stated that a plant from the mustard family can be used in the production of aviation fuel, namely kerosene, and its carbon emission is 3 times less than petroleum. The US University of Georgia produced kerosene from a plant called "Brassica Carinata", a variety such as black, white or Indian mustard.
As a result of the examinations, it was determined that this fuel obtained from the mustard plant species released at least 68% less carbon dioxidegas compared to normal kerosene.
