Air Anka, the new airline that was founded in Izmir but could not operate until now, is counting the days. Air Anka, which has recently completed its preparations and applied to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM) to obtain the AOC certificate (the activity certificate of airline companies), is expected to be issued before the end of this month and the company to complete all its preparations by August.
Air Anka currently has 2 Airbus A330 type aircraft at Atatürk Airport, and an Airbus A330 type passenger aircraft is expected to join the fleet in a shorter period of time. The company has made agreements with many pilots in the past months.
