Sunexpress announced that its wet-lease agreement with Anadolujet will end at the end of the year.

It has been announced that the wet-lease agreement between SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, and AnadoluJet, a Turkish Airlines subsidiary, will expire as of 31 December 2022. Within the scope of the agreement, SunExpress operated 12 AnadoluJet aircraft throughout 2022.

All SunExpress teams taking part in AnadoluJet operations within the scope of the wet-lease agreement will have the opportunity to continue to be employed within SunExpress. Expressing that the teams will evaluate their employment processes and regions according to their preferences, Sunexpress also announced that they will support their teams with a relocation package that includes financial support, school and housing consultancy, psychosocial and peer support during the period when they move to their new base.

SunExpress will continue to grow by focusing on its Antalya, Izmir and Ankara bases. In this context, SunExpress, which will provide new opportunities to its teams at these bases, will carry out the base transitions by taking into account the preferences of the employees. In order to ensure that employees have enough time to make the necessary arrangements, the base change process will begin as of January 2023 and can be completed by the end of June 2023, if desired.
