Students of the Transportation Services Department Met with the Industry!

On October 30, 2025, a talk event organized by the Transportation Services Department at Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School brought together students and Tuğçe Malikov, an experienced professional from the civil aviation sector and a senior chief cabin attendant. The event was moderated by Lect.Remzi Sızan, Head of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program.
During the session, the dynamics of the cabin crew profession, recent developments in the industry, and important insights regarding a career as a cabin crew member were discussed. Drawing on her many years of experience as a chief cabin attendant, Tuğçe Malikov shared valuable information with students on topics such as professional development, crisis management, teamwork, and passenger satisfaction.
Students also had the opportunity to ask questions about the aviation sector. Malikov offered heartfelt insights and practical advice to help guide students in their career planning, sharing her perspective on industry expectations and future opportunities.
At the end of the event, Asst.Prof.Elçin Yakupoğlu, Head of Transportation Services Department, presented a plaque to Tuğçe Malikov in appreciation of her valuable contribution.
The talk was held in a warm and interactive atmosphere, with strong participation from both faculty members and students. Participants had the chance to gain first-hand knowledge about the civil aviation sector and learn directly from an industry expert.
