On May 23, 2025, Gözde Sula Averbek, a lecturer in the Civil Aviation Management (English) Program, delivered an oral presentation at the 10th International Congress on Multidisciplinary Scientific Studies and Global Practices, held in Girne.
Her presentation, titled “The Power of Digital Campaigns in Public Health: An Analysis of the Ministry of Health's Social Media Activities”, explored the impact of health-themed digital campaigns published by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health on X and Instagram during six month period of 2024–2025. The study analyzed the relationship between social media engagement and Google Trends data, highlighting how digital marketing strategies contribute to public awareness and information-seeking behavior in the field of public health.
