Aviation Industry Corporation of China - AVIC announced that the first 27-minute flight of China's TP500 pilotless cargo plane was successfully completed on Saturday, June 18. The TP500 is the country's first large pilotless cargo aircraft, designed and developed by the First Aircraft Institute affiliated with AVIC, has a range of 1,800 kilometers and can carry a standard 500-kilogram payload up to 500 kilometers.
