Pointing out that Tokat is developing day by day thanks to its historical and cultural richness and commercial potential, Karaismailoğlu underlined that Tokat New Airport has a terminal building of 16,200 square meters and emphasized that its annual passenger capacity is 2 million. Noting that the technical block and the tower are 2,300 square meters, Karaismailoğlu said, "The apron has a parking capacity of 7 aircraft, including 5 passengers and 2 cargo. The length of the runway is 2,700 meters."
