Star Alliance Biometrics system, which will enable a contactless travel experience, has started to test the biometric identity recognition system that can facilitate the travel of safe and important passengers.
       This application is being tested on domestic flights by Turkish Airlines' Miles%Smiles Members who travel frequently. It was stated that it would later be implemented on international lines as well. Especially after COVID-19, contactless passage will be possible through the system doors where hygiene and health are visible. Passengers will be able to pass through these continuous passage intervals without having to remove their masks during identification.Miles%Smiles members will be able to easily start using the Star Alliance Biometrics system after completing their registration and registration following the applications of Star Alliance and THY on their phones. Miles%Smiles Members who have completed their registration will take a selfie from their phones obtain an ID and passport, and then choose the airports where they will use these services. After completing the Miles%smiles membership process, they will be able to apply the Star Alliance Biometrics system and pass through airlines and biometric system points at any time
