Istanbul hosted the most tourists in the last 16 months.
Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism announced that 224 thousand 175 people from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and 456 thousand people from Istanbul Airport came to Istanbul. Istanbul hosted tourists from 190 countries in June.
