Space X's last prototype, dubbed SN10, had a successful landing, unlike the first two prottotypes, called SN8 and SN9. However, after the landing was completed, a fire broke out on the underside of the SN10 and about 8 minutes after landing the rocket exploded with a loud noise. Space X officials considered this soft landing as an important advance for the development process.
