Rapid Growth in Consumer Loans

According to the weekly bulletin published by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), consumer loans grew by 66.8% in the week of June 24, while commercial loans declined below 40% as of the same period. According to the announced data, it was observed that all macro measures taken could not reduce the growth momentum on consumer loans.
