Profit Increase of Banks Was 323 Percent in One Year
According to the statement made by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), the profits of the banks in the first two months increased by 323 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 38 billion 999 million liras. According to BRSA data, the profit of the banking sector in the first two months of last year was 9 billion 223 million liras.
In February 2022, the asset size of the banking sector was 9 trillion 482 billion 668 million TL.
