The regulation on Tariff Implementation Principles used in the Compulsory Liability Insurance of Highways and Motor Vehicles was amended and published in the Official Gazette. According to this decision published in the official newspaper, it was stated that if reusable parts are preferred in the process of repairing the damage and paying the compensation, and if the equivalence of the parts used in the repair is proven with a documented form, a discount of up to 20% can be applied.
While the monthly increase was applied as 4.75% in the previous regulations, the traffic insurance ceiling prices were increased by 5% on May 1, and the monthly ceiling price increase after May was reduced by 2%, while the compulsory traffic insurance for electric vehicles was 10%. It has been announced that a premium reduction will be applied.
With the new regulation, the rates of no-claim discount and premium increase due to damage were changed, and the number of steps determining the claim and no-claim discount was changed from 7 to 9. With this change, while the premium increase rate was 200% in the 0 levels, the no-claim premium rate was determined as 50% in the 8th level. It was stated that while the highest no-claim discount rate could be made up to 50%, the premium increase rate could be increased by 200% due to damage.
