According to the World Economic Outlook Report published in April 2022, the global growth forecast was reduced from 4.4 percent to 3.6 percent due to the Russia-Ukraine war. The institution also announced that Turkey's 2022 growth forecast was reduced from 3.3 percent to 2.7 percent.
