Education Support Fund with the Partnership of İş Portfolio and TEV

Turkish Education Foundation and Is Portfolio Management Inc. With the cooperation of İş Portföy and TEV Education Support Hedge Fund, which were established to bring together the way of mutual funds with social responsibility, investments turn into scholarships as well as gaining profits.
 
On June 8, 2023, İş Portföy and (TEV) Turkish Education Foundation presented a new model that will provide permanent support to education through the capital markets, to the use of investors with the project they produced together.
With this project, which was approved by the Capital Markets Board, it was stated that half of the fund management fee obtained from the İş Portfolio TEV Education Support Hedge Fund will be transferred to the Turkish Education Foundation and hundreds of students will be provided with scholarships.
The first investors of İş Portfolio TEV Education Support Hedge Fund, which can only be purchased by qualified investors as it is a hedge fund without any lower limit, from Türkiye İş Bankası and all banks, and which is targeted to reach a size of 500 million TL within 1 year, are İş Portföy, Türkiye İş Bankası and İşbank. It became the Turkish Education Foundation.
According to the agreement between the Turkish Education Foundation and İş Portfolio, in addition to the management fee obtained from the Is Portfolio Education Support Hedge Fund, donations from many organizations to be organized by Is Portfolio will be transferred to TEV. Educational panels will be organized by Portfolio, and students will be provided with mentorship and internship opportunities.
