Telecommunication and technology sectors are among the sectors that implement this policy. However, it was stated that necessary studies should be carried out in order to overcome the problems in labor law and tax issues in this process.
Evaluating the report, KPMG Turkey Human and Change Services Director Jan Erdem Yılmaz said, “Remote work, especially when it gains an international dimension, can bring about complex tax and legal processes or cause concerns about work and social security practices. For this reason, it is critical that companies consider compliance and risk issues when transforming their operating models.”
