New Book Chapter by Our Department Head, Asst. Prof. Dr. Duygu Çelik, Has Been Published
Assistant Professor Duygu Çelik authored a significant chapter in the book *Macroeconomics at a Crossroads: Paradigm Shifts and New Approaches*, edited by İPUAM Deputy Director Assistant Professor Burçin Çakır Gündoğdu and published by Gazi Kitabevi. In the chapter titled “Macroeconomic Stability and Inclusive Growth: A Holistic Approach to Reducing Income Inequality,” authored by Çelik, the relationship between macroeconomic stability and inclusive growth is examined from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The study examines traditional and modern growth approaches aimed at reducing income inequality (such as the Kuznets Hypothesis and Piketty’s analyses), as well as measurement methods like the Gini coefficient and the Palma ratio, and the effects of twin transformation processes and monetary and fiscal policies on income distribution within a holistic framework. We congratulate our colleague on this valuable contribution to the field of macroeconomics and wish him continued success.
