 Record from Volvo Trucks

Record from Volvo Trucks

Volvo is undoubtedly one of the most important actors in terms of brand value and prestige for the world's vehicle manufacturers. Volvo occupies a very important place today not only with the cars it produces but also with the construction equipment, trucks, and lorries it produces. Volvo Trucks, the sub-brand of the brand responsible for truck production, has signed one of the biggest contracts the company has ever signed. The company has agreed with a Swiss construction materials producer to supply 1,000 fully electric trucks for delivery by 2030. It has gained an important place as Volvo's largest single-item order and commercial agreement for electric vehicles to date.

Batch deliveries of fully electric trucks are scheduled. First of all, deliveries of 130 fully electric Volvo FH and Volvo FM trucks will be completed in 2023 and 2024. Thanks to their zero emissions, these vehicles are environmentally friendly without the release of harmful components. These are just some of the many advantages of these vehicles that can greatly reduce noise pollution.

When we look at the general policy of the company, it is planned to reach 50% of all-electric trucks in all sales by 2030.

Holcim, a Swiss construction material manufacturer, shows that the biggest choice in making this purchase is to continue an environmentally friendly operational process. Operating with 60000 employees, the company wants to set an example in this sense.

In the planning made so far, it is aimed to reach customers, especially among European countries with 1000 fully electric trucks ordered.
