Generator Service with Electric Cars in Earthquake Zones

After the earthquake, which is one of the biggest disasters in our country, the wounds are tried to be healed.

The MG brand also stated that they were ready to help to support the aid in our country. It was seen that one of the basic needs in the disaster area was electricity, and the company took action to meet this need.

New electric vehicles of the MG brand were on their way to be sent to Europe. The senior executives of the brand gave instructions to send these electric vehicles to Turkey. MG Europe, on the other hand, has made great efforts since the first day of the earthquake for the emergency delivery of V2L (vehicle-to-load) cables to Turkey. These cables, which enable the electrical energy in the vehicles to be supplied to the devices, were primarily sent by airplanes.

In the first stage, plans were made and dispatches were made to send 20 vehicles as mobile generators. As more vehicles reach our country, they will continue to be referred to earthquake zones and try to meet the needs.

Up to 70 kilowatt hours of energy can be obtained thanks to the vehicles and V2L cables that can be taken wherever electrical energy is needed. The energy at this capacity will be able to meet the basic energy needs of a small family in the house for approximately 1 month under normal conditions. Thanks to the energy capacity of only one vehicle, up to 3 tents or containers can be heated and illuminated at the same time. It will be possible to supply 3.3 kilowatts of power per hour to 3 actively working sockets.

These vehicles will be able to meet basic needs such as lighting, electric heater and mobile phone charging for approximately 2 days in 1 uninterrupted use.

As they are electric vehicles, while providing this energy, they will not produce loud noise and air pollution like internal combustion generators.

The Wallbox brand, which represents the group of the MG brand, supplied charging stations that will enable charging electric cars in case of need, and they are installing them in cooperation with Aytemiz stations in the region.
