German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz's fully electric, articulated bus eCitaro G is being tested in Bolzano, Italy, at an altitude of 2000 meters on the largest plateau of the Alps. An important part of the R&D infrastructure of the bus, which has a 441 kWh battery, was developed in the Istanbul R&D center.
