Big Order to Otokar

One of the proud manufacturers of our country, Otokar has made a name for itself with its high production quality and standards for years. The biggest market target of the company, which stands out especially in commercial vehicles, is to increase its export figures in Europe. The company continues its output in Europe every year.

The company has received orders from two different buyers from Italy. With the agreements made with Italy-based Consip, a total of 148 bus orders were received. For the order with a total value of 34.2 million euros, deliveries will start as of 2023. The shipment, which will start in batches as of the second half of 2023, will be completed within 1 year in total in the first half of 2024.

58 of the firm's orders are for the Tuscany region. 28 of these buses are Doruk and 30 of them are natural gas Kent buses. These vehicles will serve within the fleet of Autolinee Toscane.

90 of the orders will be sent to Puglia, while the natural gas City bus will be sent to Puglia. All vehicles will provide passenger transportation service by the Regional Transportation Department.

Thousands of vehicles of the company serve in more than 50 countries. In addition to many different vehicles of Otokar, natural gas-powered Kent buses are striking with their very modern interior and exterior appearances.
