After two major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, one of the biggest disasters our country has ever seen, many
institutions and citizens of our country continue to work together to heal the wounds.
In this context, aid from many companies reaches the region. Automotive companies operating in our country
continue to provide assistance.
Tofaş (Fiat) reported that a search and rescue certified team from within the company was sent to the region in
coordination with AFAD. In addition, it is on the road in trucks loaded with aid materials to be delivered to
earthquake victims. Aid continues to be collected through dealer networks across the country.
Borusan Group, one of Borusan Otomotiv's subsidiaries, also made a statement regarding the earthquake, ''After
the earthquake, we created our Borusan Group Disaster Coordination Center and implemented an inclusive aid
plan. Our aid trucks covering general needs, the supply of construction equipment and energy solutions, and
shelter. We are together with the people of the region with volunteers consisting of people from Borusan and
Borusan.
Ford Otosan stated that its search and rescue teams reached Hatay, one of the earthquake zones, to support the
work in coordination with AFAD. They stated that they are in Kahramanmaraş to provide medical support by
establishing a field hospital in a team of doctors and nurses within the company. The company also continues to
collect and ship relief supplies to the region. They also shared information about logistics support with their
business partners and public institutions.
Hyundai Assan announced that they have delivered aid worth 10 million TL to AFAD for basic needs in order to
support earthquake victims and relief teams.
Mercedes-Benz Türk reported that aid trucks containing winter clothes, blankets, and powerbanks they prepared to
deliver to the region set off. They also announced that they have donated 1 million Euros.
