Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who plans to break through physical barriers with his Metaverse initiative, has announced plans for an artificial intelligence project, a universal translation tool unlike anything else that rolled out around the world earlier this year.
At the same time, the company that has made itself famous for its social media networks has also introduced the virtual assistant, another AI-powered tool. Both of these smart apps are intended to have practical use cases in Zuckerberg's metadata. These are their intended uses, but they are also expected to have broader business applications that Meta knows so well.
Meta said, “A step towards a future where simultaneous translation between languages is possible: In the future, all written or unwritten languages may no longer be an obstacle to mutual understanding.”
