Language I/O adds Papago to the translation aggregation layer, improving the ability to translate languages outside of Europe

Language I/O (LIO), a leading provider of multilingual customer support technology, today announced a significant improvement in translation quality for Asia Pacific languages with the integration of Naver Papago. Naver Papago is the sixth machine translation engine used by Language I/O to power their customer support translations.
There are more than 7,000 languages spoken in the world today. However, more than half of the population's mother tongue is only 23. This language inconsistency is particularly evident when it comes to collecting data for translation services.
Chris Jacob, Vice President of Products at Language I/O, announced that they are committed to actively developing their ability to translate languages outside of Europe. “Papago represents a significant improvement in our support for Asia Pacific languages and enhances our ability to deliver high-quality translation engines for all spoken languages of the world,” added Jacob.
In addition to high-quality machine translations into Korean, Papago reduces the need to use rapid human translation (RHT) or other loop human translation methods. MT serves as a more cost-effective translation method that enables faster communication for global brands.
Language I/O currently provides accurate translations in over 150 languages across chat, email, articles, and social support channels.
