With the coronavirus epidemic, the technological transformation that will take place in maybe 10 years has been experienced rapidly in 6 months. On how technology affects family life, two sisters, Dr. Instructor Member Özge Gürsoy Atar and Dr. Instructor Member Şebnem Gürsoy Ulusoy conducted a research. The research was carried out by conducting in-depth interviews with married families with children. Commenting on the research, Dr. Instructor Member Atar said, “During the in-depth interviews, we saw that families were negatively affected by the technological process and benefited from technology in areas such as education and shopping.” Dr. Instructor Member Ulusoy said, “Due to the advancement of technology, people have locked themselves in their homes, blended with technology. The convenience provided by this technological transformation has turned us into people who are dependent on home and independent to real life without being noticed.”
