Global Interpreting Services has launched the Bridging Communication Gaps Program eLearning course designed to teach law enforcement how to communicate effectively. The broadcast of the program was scheduled as August 15, 2022. Since more than 25 million people in the United States are considered to speak low English and 30 million have hearing loss, public safety personnel need to communicate with these citizens. This course will help improve language access in these departments and build trust in the communities they serve.
