23 April United Nations English Language Day
While 23 April is celebrated as the National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which was gifted to children by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in our country, it is celebrated as "English Language Day" by the United Nations in the world.
To commemorate William Shakespeare, celebrations are held to commemorate the poet, since 23 April, which is accepted as the English Language Day by the United Nations, is both the birth and death date of the poet.
