ASELSAN President and CEO Haluk Görgün talked about their work with radar suppression technologies and low visibility. Emphasizing that "radar absorption" is one of the issues they care about, Görgün noted that the scattered surfaces and areas of existing platforms should be well defined in order to better understand how, at what distance and from what distance enemy radars can detect the platform.
Görgün said that by developing a software called RAPID that can only be used in ASELSAN, he enabled the identification and development of materials and paints related to processing.
Görgün made the following assessments: "With this software, the platforms that need radar absorption can be the wing of the aircraft, part of the bullet, nose and tail. We have software that our local and national engineers have developed and added capabilities to.
