 Important Statements of Turkey on the Space Program


Turkish Space Agency President Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım met with students at the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair (DAKAF), organized by the Presidential Human Resources Office in Erzurum. In his statements, Yıldırım stated that an unmanned vehicle will be sent to the Moon in 2029.


Turkish Space Agency President Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım met with students at the Eastern Anatolia Career Fair (DAKAF), organized by the Presidential Human Resources Office in Erzurum. In his statements, Yıldırım stated that an unmanned vehicle will be sent to the Moon in 2029.
Stating that they are trying to raise Turkey, which is in the 2nd league in space technologies, to the first league, Yıldırım said that one of their most important goals is to create a regional positioning system. Emphasizing that the regional positioning system will be an important step for Turkey, Yıldırım stated that they are making efforts to realize this difficult project and that they aim to use this system together with brotherly and friendly countries.
