With the regulation to be made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production will be realized from vegetable and animal waste oils. According to the Paris Climate Agreement, carbon emissions are expected to be reduced by 2030. In this context, it is hoped that sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production will become a strategic product by gaining value all over the world, with the decision of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to "Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050 in the Aviation Sector". In this context; The “Draft Regulation on the Management of Vegetable and Animal Waste Oils” was prepared by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in order to make the management of vegetable and animal waste oils more effective in Turkey and was opened to the views of the stakeholders.
