4 departments of Istanbul Gelisim University have been awarded at the Aviation Achievement Awards, organized annually by the "Bluesky Awards", Turkey's first and only independent aviation achievement awards organization.
It won the following awards at the Istanbul Gelisim University Aviation Achievement Awards.

• Istanbul Gelisim Vocational School Aircraft Technology Program -
Aircraft Technology Department of the Year Award
• Engineering and Architecture Faculty Aeronautical Engineering Department -
Aeronautical Engineering Department of the Year Award
• Faculty of Applied Sciences Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Department -
Airframe Engine Maintenance Department of the Year Award
