VEHICLE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM SERVICE PERFORMED BY HAVAS

In order to prevent negative situations due to waiting times at the service point, Istanbul Airport, which is closely monitored both nationally and internationally, Havaş offered the "Vehicle appointment system" service, which can be used online.
New decisions have been taken by Havaş to improve the process of accepting cargo shipments in order to control the vehicle traffic encountered during the acceptance of export-oriented shipments and to prevent the congestion caused by the waiting times and similar issues that arise when incoming vehicles are queued manually. The "Online Vehicle Appointment System" application, which will benefit from the digitalization of the logistics sector regarding the problems encountered in this direction, and which will contribute to the improvement of the said applications, has been developed and put into service at the Istanbul Airport HAVAŞ Temporary Storage Area as of the first week of October. Due to this application, both companies and agencies will be able to make an appointment at the available time before reaching the area, and then continue the necessary stages by getting service from the area where the unloading is made, without having to wait in any way when the shipment arrives at the area.
In order to create definitions for users in order to take appointments, Havaş Warehouse Chief can apply. Customers who do not use the application or do not register on the online system can perform their transactions through other doors other than the unloading doors offered for customers with an appointment.
