Myanmar Airlines (MAI) started to use Crane CGO, the cargo software solution used by Hitit for reservation and cargo services. In this way, MAI will now be able to digitally perform the cargo processes that it previously carried out manually.
Hitit was among the world's most important service providers in passenger services for technological solutions. Now continues this success in the cargo area as well. Myanmar International Airlines (MAI), which is considered to be the largest private airline company in Myanmar, has now started to receive support from Hitit for cargo activities by developing its partnership with Hitit company.
Expressing that they provide speed and agility by bringing MAI together with digital applications in air transportation activities, Hitit Deputy General Manager of Transportation Solutions Atilla Lise made the following statements regarding the subject: ‘’ This digital solution for cargo, which we started to develop towards the end of 2019, has become one of the most important elements of the Crane group. With our focus on providing the most comprehensive and at the same time complete solution for air cargo activities, we have provided solutions for airline companies' activities both nationally and internationally. We provide technology to the entire process, thanks to our solutions that cover every stage of air cargo logistics from acceptance of the cargo to the final delivery point’’. Highlighting that the pandemic plays a critical role in air logistics, Lise continued as follows: ’’ Airline companies have realized the importance of achieving operational sustainability by expanding the range of their business models due to the restrictions placed on passengers. In this regard, we offered two different opportunities to the airlines. The first opportunity we offered was to bring together the applications they made manually with technology. Our second opportunity has been to introduce new operations to companies that have been carrying out passenger transportation so far. By realizing this quickly, we have developed our partners as well as ensured the growth of the company. In the process after the pandemic, we will continue our efforts to bring the airlines together with the technology that this industry needs’’.
