In addition to these, he said that they aim to carry over 12 million passengers by the end of the year by adding 26 new routes to the flight network between Turkey and Europe for the summer of 2023. Referring to the earthquake in Turkey, Kownatzki said: ’’ In the last days, as we continue to support the healing of the wounds after the earthquake, our belief in Turkey's power to recover as soon as possible is stronger than ever. To support this, we have channeled into promoting Turkey and Turkish tourism even more seriously outside the country. With this focus, we will continue our efforts to contribute to the economy and employment. We strive to transform Turkey into a country that is visited in all seasons of the year. For this reason, we continue to contribute to Turkey's 60 million tourist target for this year’’.
