Russia-Ukraine War Risk in Aviation Industry
According to the data of 2021, 30 percent of the foreign tourists visiting Turkey were Ukrainian and Russian visitors. This year, holiday plans are expected to change negatively due to the crisis. Therefore, companies such as Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Doco, Tav Airports and Celebi are at risk.
According to the information shared by Garanti BBVA Securities, approximately 3 percent of Turkish Airlines' revenues come from Russia, while 3 percent of Pegasus' total passengers come from Ukraine and Russia.
