Havaş continues to grow in the field of warehouse services as well as freight transport with the facility they have established thanks to their 12 million Euro investment at Istanbul Airport. With the existence of the facility, a 10-fold growth was achieved in cargo acceptance and delivery areas, while temperature-controlled perishable cargo storage areas reached a 4-fold growth.
Referring to the importance they attach to digitalization as well as growth, Havaş Warehouse Coordinator Turhan YEŞİL stated that all special cargo storage areas are controlled by 4K camera systems. At the same time, he states that thanks to digital technologies, temperature changes, malfunctions and inputs and outputs in the warehouses are recorded and instant information is delivered to the relevant people. Noting that they are continuing similar digitalization studies on the subject, Yeşil stated that they want to test processes such as warehouse counting/stock control by using digital wearable technologies in the future.
